Algebraic Multigrid for Stokes Equation

We consider the solution of the stokes problem by using algebraic multigrid methods (AMG). The natural way of using AMG for stokes equation is to precondition the pressure correction equation using UZAWA typed decoupling. Another possibility is to apply the AMG Method on the whole system. When using Smoothing Algorithms like Wanka-typed algorithms, the problem reduces to find a coupled coarsening strategie for velocities and pressure. Numerical examples will show the optimal behaviour for 2D and 3D examples.
